Privacy Policy

Sites related to mdhLabs collect the minimum information required to monitor traffic levels to applications and individual pages. Specfically, our blogs use Google's internal data collection for page views and StatCounter to collect:

  • date/time of visit
  • source IP address of visitor
  • page URL visited
  • city / state / Internet service provider as determined by the IP address

This information is shared with no other parties nor is it enriched or transformed for use internally by mdhLabs or externally with any party.

Applications operated by mdhLabs and operating in the mdhlabs.com domain may integrate to third party Identity providers such as Google, GitHub, LinkedIn, etc. to allow users to authenticate via existing external credentials rather than creating new logins unique to mdhLabs. Oauth2 integration is used to allow AUTHENTICATION to take place externally to mdhLabs (only involving you the user and the third-party identity provider). After authentication, the identity provider returns a temporary authorization code to the user who relays it back to mdhLabs which obtains a temporary access token for any access to third party data and generates an internal token between mdhLabs and the user to secure your session. mdhLabs never posseses user passwords (clear-text or encrypted) and only retains information such as firstname, lastname, username and contactemail as provided by the Identity Provider after authentication. This user metadata is retained for internal security logging only and is not shared with any other parties in original or any enriched / transformed format.
